PSN to SEN: Time to rage quit? - DarkFeed

In the new 'partner' trailer for Resident Evil 5 there are now plenty of white people wandering around Africa, instead of only black people. Also, Capcom has now given Chris a partner and guess what? She's black. Seems Capcom has visibly fixed their racism problem.
But wait! Let's fast forward to the last comment... 'No worries, my last partner was a woman too.' Uh-oh, are women going to jump at this acclaimed 'sexist' comment? Apparently, feministgamers.com doesn't believe it's sexist but believe that there are still racist issues in there.
There's more. Abuse of animals? Well, we do see dogs getting slaughtered so we'd better call up PETA.
Dear feminist gamers, did Capcom just trade racism for sexism? Well, according to feministgamers.com the "girl-power" exchange at the end did little to dissuade her/them from still believing that this is a racist game through and through. Funny, it's so hard for me to understand who is supposed to get pissed off by what these days. Apparently I suck at ranking sexist and racist commentary. I'm going to get stuck doing more sensitivity training so I too can pretend to live in a world where everyone and everything is somehow oppressive to something. The one thing I have definitely learned is that at the root of every problem in the world is white men, that much is solid fact.

People of all races die. Dogs die. Shit happens.
I do, however, find it funny how Capcom jumps to all the complaints to fix it.
Resident Evil is one of the few series that has female protagonists who serve more purpose than just looking pretty and flailing around waiting for men to save them. If anything, feminists should be extatic at these portrayals of "tough" women.
As for killing dogs ... Zombie dogs have always been enemies in the series. I don't see why that issue would be brought up now.
I don't mean to think violently with this situation, but I agree with GG. A woman finding RE to be sexist should be shot in the face.
Thats like saying "That's my uncle over there" and being called sexist. I don't think that people are offended by it at all though, I think it is more that people think other people might be offended by it, and therefore call it racist and sexist and all the rest of it.
As far as i know, the only black guy who complained about the RE5 trailer was this guy - and he wasn't complaining about the game itself being racist, just that anyone who wasn't familiar with the series might get the wrong impression from the trailer.
who gives a *bleep* about sexism.
