It's true... reviewing Metal Gear Solid 4 appears to be a madmans job, because if you review it with anything other than a 10/10 you will (and I mean you WILL) be set upon by angry MGS4 fans who even without playing the game, have given it a 10/10 rating in their minds. Here's an example of what I mean. People actually think a reviewer can't review the game, because they gave it 8/10... hmmm...

However, let's switch over to PSM3... it has been called by a few as "The best MGS4 review" available... let us take a look at what problems the internet has with most of the MGS4 reviews....

  1. The review should be written by a fan, not a journalist
  2. The review should be written by a journalist, not a fan
  3. Reviews should be objective (ie concerned with facts), not subjective (ie personal opinion).
  4. Ditto. But vice-versa.

Yeah it just doesn't help me with the fact that whilst it's released on the 12th, I can't play it till the Friday after since that's when I'm back home with my PS3 Damn you for releasing games on odd days
