I can see Qore being referred to by many as additional content for the PSN... but isn't that what XBOX Live is? Additional content for those that are willing to pay? So in essence isn't Qore basically XBOX Live for the Playstation? At $2.99 a month (or $24.99 yearly) it's price is much like that of XBOX Live (which is slightly higher but in the grand scheme of things, not by much).

With XBOX Live giving free demos to those that subscribe earlier, Qore simply gives chance to get into beta's before others can... so what do you think, is Qore basically PSN Gold?

The idea of a network service on a console that offers a television like program that has exclusive content and announcements and gives you access to demos, betas and the like, sounds great. You stick on a monthly subscription fee then you’ve got another kettle of fish.

Qore is the service in question bought to you by your friends at Sony. available on the Playstation 3, Qore will offer up some exclusive demos, content & more while also having a television-esque program that will be focused on the Playstation brand.

"At $2.99 a month (or $24.99 monthly)" Should be $24.99 yearly. And I think you get a free game with a yearly sub. Not sure if it's worth it or if I could even afford it though to tell you the truth, I prefer actually games.

PSN Gold? Maybe, but it's not like you can't play games online if you don't have it.

People who complained about not having enough content on PSN, will probably now complain saying Qore is ripping off XBL.

There's a time limit before it becomes available to Silver Members. And until that time limit is up, it is only available to the Gold members... correct me if I'm wrong about that, but as far as I know, that's how it works.

        Not that I know of.
My friend only has silver and he can get downloads the same day as me.

Hmm, only a matter of time before playing online will need a fee paid. The only thing that set it apart from XBL to me.

Somebody's paranoid. There's a distinct difference between Gold and Silver...Qore, is an OPTIONAL program which you can CHOOSE to buy; not interrupting your online services if you don't buy it. Should you choose to do so you get rewarded...sounds pretty *bleep*ing fair, don't it?
