  The better games one is bullshit and can very easily be argued. I am not saying the snes didnt have good games, but the genesis had fantastic titled, Phatnasy Star, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Sonic 1 and 2 and Knuckles, Vector Man, just a bunch of good games. Their first reason is weak.

    On top of that just as Nintendo used external hardware inside the cart to push things like Starfox Sega did the same with more hardcore titles like Virtua Racing of all things.
    
    The list is meh, it basis much of the fight on the first generation model and ignores the later changes to help benefit the market as a whole (6 button controllers making Mortal Kombat, SF2 Championship Edition and so on) and while we're on the subject CE dominated the basic SF2 on the SNES.
    
    The rest of the list reads almost like an Apple vs MS rant and dives hard from there. Although it seems fitting to something you would find on a basic WP layout site.

  I don't remember the SNES dominating Genesis. Sega was doing pretty well for themselves at that time. I never even had SNES, but I slept next to my Genesis.

  The 16bit era was viewed as the best time in gaming. It would not be viewed that way unless both consoles had an equal amount of quality games. If you had one or the other, you had reason to be happy. If you are like me and owned both, you were in pixelated heaven.
