Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
15 hours 30 mins ago
One of the most hilarious aspects of the gaming industry are the numerous comments made by developers and publishers in respect to their products. Ranging from idiotic attacks on competition to egotistical ramblings, it seems every video game figurehead has to say something incredibly stupid.
GamesRadar has put together a list of the top 30 industry quotes for your reading pleasure. Check out the source for the full list.
Game industry publishers and developers say the darndest things - no, really. Whether theyre using ten-dollar words to hawk their products, provoking message boards or feigning ignorance through million-dollar egos, we look to these game makers with a vested interest. After all, theyre supposed to be looking out for the everyday gamer, right? Then why all the hilariously misguided potshots at competitors? Whats with treating your demographic like sheep? Who are you people?
Publishers - we understand that youll say just about anything to get us to buy your system, but please dont undermine your own fan base. And developers - we know youve spent the last few years making a product that can easily be ripped apart by reviews and the internet. But please try not to take it as a personal attack.
With E3 just around the corner, we eagerly await the next crazy-talk from our beloved industry. That said here are our favorite foot-in-mouth comments from the past few years.

Whats with the "Gamers who play RPGs are depressed, play in dark rooms, and want to play things slowly" crack! I take offense! *turns off all the lights, levels up his character another 2000 times, and cries to himself about how pathetic his life is*
Good Lord, isn't that a great feat.
I don't let Mario just appear in any kind of game. Mario could not appear in Zelda games. They are two distinct game worlds. Miyamoto, on why you dont see Mario in games more often
