What happened to the console war?

Some games become curiously popular, even though they have the entertainment value of a brick wall. This is the story of 3 such excuses for video games. Hint: Each game's name starts with an "H" and ends in a "alo".
Note: Just a quote. Not the entire article.
"3. Halo: Combat Evolved
This game, although heralded by many a stooge, has so many problems and missing features that it's impossible to play. For one, the game disk doesn't work when I place it in my PS2 (which I bought from Wal-Mart). It's obvious that the developers are *bleep* based off of this anomaly alone, as any game that doesn't run on a PS2 was probably created by homosexuals."

Also, before any stupid Halo fanboys come in and *bleep* up the article: IT'S A JOKE!
I have no love for the Halo series. The first one was awesome. Followed by disappointment. It's just purely not funny.
Halo rocks!
Lol, hilarious article.

I understand it's meant to be a joke, but jokes are funny! This for me, was horribly unfunny. Just came across as a pissy Sony fanboy trying too hard. If the writer would lighten up a bit and actually make fun of the bits and pieces of Halo itself like some parodies do, then it could have been a great read.
It sounded like someone wrote that, in response to Sony Fanboys who may hate the series for no legit reason, and those who hate Bill Gates and Microsoft in general, "just because." It seemed like it was mocking those who say a game (such as the Halo series) is trash, because they don't like the console it's on, or they don't like the creators or something.
