Six reasons The Dark Knight: The Game would be a bad idea.

NSX | July 23, 2008 | Blog | PC Playstation 3
The Dark Knight is one of the few big superhero movies that won't be released with a game version, but according to GameDaily that's actually a good thing...
6. LEGO Batman's Coming Soon
With so many games coming out this year, we have room for only one Batman game, and we're more than happy with the LEGO offering. Playing as Batman, Robin, Joker, Penguin and Catwoman, all LEGO-ized, sounds more enticing than any Dark Knight video game.

Most idiotic list in quite a while, actually I lie most of the lists they come out with are idiotic even when compared to the hundreds of pointless ones out there.

1 - Most superhero movie games suck because they try to stick too much with the movie and make it far too linear. Make it more sandbox like and it will be one of the best games you have ever played.

2 - It won't be a *bleep*ing isult, he played a good Joker but he's dead using someone else won't be the end of the world. Get over it and stop riding his dick. Hamill made an amazing Joker and still does. Yes I am aware that I'm going to get thumbs downed by every one out there who considers him to be holy grail or what not.

3 - That simply seems more like jab at the Wii than anything. The Wii doesn't need to get the game or simply don't buy it for the Wii.

4 - (Pretty much the same as 1, in fact probably the reason for 1 in most cases)

    5 - Wow... seriously wow.

    6 - ...

They always do suck because of that

I'm joking, by the way. It was just a funny typo, don't anyone go getting any crazy ideas about thumbing me down

Anyway, I think this list sucks. And, another movie-based Batman movie wouldn't necessearily be a bad idea, considering the last one was mediocre, which is leaps and bounds above other games based on super-hero movies.

It would atleast be an average game. I think that The Last Batman game was actually really cool, and I'd love to see another one like it. If someone's getting it right for once, why not let them make another game?

lol, no problem. Thanks for being able to take a joke. Usually when I do something like that, I get not-so-nice responses.

What a dumb list. At least 3 of those "reasons" are just assumptions; how does anybody know that a Wii version of the game would suck.

And they certainly can't base the "fact" that Batman Begins was crap as a reason that a TDK game would also fail.

As for reason six: that's more a reason why the game won't be coming out any time soon, if at all. It's certainly not a reason for it to not be released.

Seriously . . . the list is ridiculous. None hold any weight to them . . . At all.

My own oppinion, as to why it wouldn't be good, is because I didn't like the first one and its controls. But, it doesn't mean it shouldn't come out. It just means I don't think I'd buy it.

I don't like the Lego games. Too much nudity and violence for my taste. I'm sure The Lego Batman game will be no different.

        Haha,

Aw shucks that's the best part of the Lego games, I can't wait for Lego Batman to come out. Wonder if Lego Spiderman will happen!

Lego Spiderman? That would probably only be the coolest "kids" game ever. I mean that in a good way.

          Lol, I couldn't imagine Lego-Venom.

Actually the list is pretty good. Those are nearly all common problems plaguing movie games.

Honestly I can't see how you guys disgree with them at all.

I disagree with them because they're stuff that can be corrected and a good Batman game can be made in fact a good movie game can be made. Spider-man sort of broke away from the pack and that was an amazing game as far as movie games go. They simply need to take it further for it to work.

Yes, but unfortunately, you can say that about any superhero game that's ever been made and it's not worked more often than when it did.

It hasn't worked because they keep following the same formula over and over again, a failed formula at that.

A TDK game wouldn't hurt now, would it?
