The Skyrim 1.4 patch that was released on Steam last week is now arriving on...

Zach from XboxFocus goes in depth into a series of Microsoft products, setbacks, and disappointments (Can you say Vista and RROD?) that can only lead to one conclusion.
Microsoft just simply hates us all.
Im disgruntled with Sony, Ive been annoyed by Nintendo, but Microsoft is the only one of the big three that has truly pissed me off. My experience with my 360 has been more or less akin to that of being a beaten wife in denial. I'm currently on my 6th system and Im so freaked out that itll break again that I sent in a questionable claim to Xbox support just to have a box and shipping info prepared just in case it goes.
So heres a list of every wrong, perceived or real, that Microsoft has done onto the gaming community (aka my peeps). Note: due to space restrictions the following will be limited to gaming-based examples of how Microsoft hates us, there are many, many more.

Do you really think Ms sit around going "Ok, Now how should we get back at our customers this time around?"
"
Worldwide Launch
The classic story of the 360's launch was that while they were sitting on shelves in Japan, people were being robbed at gunpoint for one in the US. While I didnt have to point a gun at anyone to get one, I did have to do some things Im not too proud of."
Yes, That really mean MS hates you? Because they did not take consoles off the shelves of Japan and ship them to us.
"Then, my 360 headset was destroyed beyond repair in another 30 seconds by a kitten with abandonment issues."
Yup MS hired that kitten to break your headset, didn't they?
Vista is a good OS, It works fine for me and I have never had any problems with it, People just need to complain.
Then don't buy it, get a Preminum, and stop bitching. I didn't see it as a good deal at launch. That's why I didn't get it.
Then use the S controller and stop bitching.
Then take care of your god damn cat and stop bitching.
Welcome to capitalism. Stop bitching.
I defy you to name one electronic device that will last forever. If it runs on electricity, it'll break. That's a fact of life. You should at least be *bleep*ing grateful Microsoft was generous enough to fix things like the RRoD for free and provide an extended warranty.
And frankly, I can't emphasize this enough: STOP BITCHING.
You should be grateful to pay more to make something you already bought useful? When I buy something, I expect to to be able to use it without needing some upgrade. Why on Earth should I have to buy a different SKU, a different control, and a different headset just to cover up for what should have been standard? Maybe if it is some kind of upgrade that makes the experience better, perhaps, but not to reach just a usable level.
You should be grateful you are getting overcharged for online money?
I guess this guy is wrong, Microsoft really loves you, but for all the wrong reasons.
I have really small hands (being an adult and 5'3") but even I find the 360 controller a perfect fit. You just need to be able to hold it, not wrap your fingers around the whole damn thing.
The writer says he's gone through five 360's in two years, and I find that absolutely amazing. Mine just hit the two year mark December 2007, and I did need to send it in once for a disc drive repair (since modifying it yourself would void any future warranties). People can laugh, but I don't see Sony doing anything about faulty products, especially when the PS3 saw so many technical issues its first year of launch. Okay, so the older 360's have their problems but Microsoft acknowledges it, and they're very good at handling these problems. I have to say, the code they sent back with my 360 for a free month of Gold wasn't too bad either. Point is, at least Microsoft is doing something about the 360 issues.
This guy is really just blogging his frustrations, which isn't a problem except his issues with the 360/Vista seem really unnecessary and, for the most part, avoidable.
Vista - Sounds like someone just has a piece of shit computer or too much porn on their hard drive attached to mass spyware/viruses. If only people had a clue on how to...I don't know, bloody format their hard drive before installing a new OS >_>. Not terribly hard and it'll assure Vista works providing you have a decent computer. Hell my computer is quite a few years old at this point and Vista works great.
Brick - Lol, mine is on carpet that hasn't been vacuumed in like years, in a badly ventilated room behind my TV, PS2, DVD player, video player, Sega Master, Sega Saturn and god knows what else with heaps of cords sitting practically on the brick, and I never turn off the 360 at the power point. Haven't had a single problem.
Batteries - Rechargeable batteries ftw.
Headset - So, it's Microsoft's fault that a kitten with abandonment issues got ahold of the headset that was probably sitting on the floor or something and destroyed it?
Customization - It's not really doing anything for you, but it makes you stand out and it can be fun to have a flashy setup. It's like cars, it's not practical to have a car that costs like $150,000 when you could have a car that does the same thing for $20,000, but it's just to stand out and have a kick ass car.
Microsoft Points - $6, *bleep*ing woop.
Reliability Issues - Shouldn't have hit your brother so many times then huh? Obviously to go through that many consoles your doing something wrong, there's people who are still on their first 360 since the launch.
The way I see all of it:
Microsoft is stuck on themselves,
Sony is somewhat stuck on themselves but at the same time tries to be a people pleaser by twisting the truth often
Nintendo is off on their own, having fun and doing what they've always done with their games, kinda ignoring the others.
I own and love all the consoles for each of their pros, but the companies behind them can really be irritating!
this article is a fail.
