Scott Steinberg of Sony Computer Entertainment of America says they don't plan to follow suit with the precedences of innovation that Nintendo has set. The "senior citizen group" is not their target demographic, and SCEA thinks it can stay hip forever...without breaking its hips like all those darn old people.
Sony believes that if they convert their PS2 users to PS3 upgrades, they can go ahead and tell old gamers to go **** their dentures. What those geniuses at Sony are overlooking, however, is that every human being on earth gets older by the second. Before we realize it, we're all going to be decrepit, wheelchair-wielding, *bleep*-popping senile gamers who use systems like the Wii to get their daily fix of motion.

The author of this piece is obviously taking Sony's comment a LITTLE too seriously.
2) I meant AUTHOR...the one who WROTE the article? Not submitted it.
3) What the *bleep* does that have to do with anything?
And that is a funny ass picture.
Specifically for:
Brain Age
Brain Age 2
Flash Focus
I also bought:
CrosswordsDS
Solitaire overload
and Dementium: The Ward
So far!
And for people like HawkMan who can't find the REPLY button.
At least people can grow a pair and SPEAK rather than to spam the damn thing because they disagree.
QFT. Fatal Error hit the nail on the head.
As for an entertainment aspect I fail to see what really makes the Wii so much easier to get into. There is nothing hard about learning how to hit 8 different buttons. The classic controllers aren't some insanely difficult thing to master. My 5 year old can figure out most games just by trial and error. And he can't even read the instructions yet.

Anyways, the article is a bit of an over-exaggeration. Sony only said that they are aiming to get PS2 owners and DVD lovers into buying the PS3, not converting senior citizens into gamers. The entire paragraph (about telling old gamers to "*bleep* themselves") is just the author sensationalizing and trying to stir up controversy where there is none. >_>
