The Complete History of Nintendo: From Card-Making Beginnings to a Wii Future

Dark Arcanine | September 07, 2008 | Blog | Nintendo 64 Wii Gaming Tech/Hardware
Well here it is, a complete history of Nintendo!

Starting all the way back in 1889 all the way up to the present, it has it all. All the way from a card game to the likes of the Nintendo DS and Wii.
119 years have culminated in that little white box that sits beneath your TV. No bigger than a DVD case, the Wii is essentially the same machine – albeit slightly prettier and technically more robust – that Nintendo would release back in 1985.

CBA to read it all at the moment, since I only plan to spend a couple hours more up (got an interview in the early afternoon, and want to wake up, eat, shave, and get dressed properly for it)....

Will be reading it sometime though.

And I've known about it's humble roots in the board/traditional game industry.
