Which game has the more appealing features: Gears of War 2 or Resistance 2?

We all know Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 are shaping up to be big titles that are both set to release in early November.

Blend Games, who writes reviews, previews, and other things about gaming, have decided to let us decide which game has the more "appealing" features between the two games for their face-off (Round 2). All you have to do is read through the current list of features for the games, and vote at the bottom!

You can check out Round 1 here.
Round 2: Battle of the gameplay features

While it would be convenient to compare both games with their given fact sheets, it actually wouldn’t be a very prudent thing to do. This is simply considering that Gears of War 2's fact sheet doesn’t cover half of what the game features, and Resistance 2's fact sheet doesn’t properly explain what the game features. So instead, we’ll cover what is in both games: weapons, highlight points and multiplayer.

    I won't bother reading this. It's probably 100% bias.

Im going to say Resistance 2. It just attracts me more. Gears is fun but Resistance seems more..suspenseful..

Yeah, R2 interests me more. I haven't played Gears 1 though, so yeah....

But they also failed to mention online co-op in R2 (dunno if Gears 2 has it as well), that is a multiplayer type of feature, more or less (since you can have up to 8 players playing together at the same time).....

To answer your question no you can only play the singleplayer in singleplayer and the co-op in co-op.

Oh and I think Red meant to explain whether you were talking about Gears or Resistance.

Personally I think there's nothing wrong with comparing the two games. It's just for fun.

I actually read it and it's not bad at all. The author has preferences in each category AND is very balanced (and informed) about it, not missing a single detail. This is definetly more than I can say for a lot of people out there. Of course, the "Which is better" obviously raises attention...which I'm pretty sure is what the author was looking for.

I don't care what one has and what the other doesn't. I'm getting them both and am going to thoroughly enjoy them both.

Wow, comparing titles will never end in the gaming world.

Here's a clue, who cares which one is better. Both games are different and pick the one that you like. Either way both these games are going to be blockbuster titles and help the PS3 and 360 alot.
