New Challenger: 3 Reasons Why Gaming Will Destroy Itself Part 1
9 hours 12 mins ago
Last week an article was published noting the problems of the XBOX 360, and in the article, only one source was named, the source Robert Delaware. However, last wednesday he was fired, and the reason was the VentureBeat article. Reporting directly to a Microsoft Manager, he was told that he was being let go.
Robert Delaware was the only named Microsoft worker (a contract employee) who talked without permission to VentureBeat for our story last week on the Xbox 360 defects.

But this is quite normal in business, It happens all of the time.
Well wish him the best of luck where he goes.
Well now he can blab all he wants.
WTF was he thinking, using his real name? Did he lack common sense? Of COURSE his employer (part of the MS family) wouldn't be happy about an employee from the MS corporation was bad-mouthing (truth or not) about one of their products.
Same thing would happen if you were an employee under any company pretty much....
Starbucks - Our coffee sucks, and has such and such wrong with it - You'd get fired over that, if they found out it was you.
Just common sense. Which this guy sorely lacked >_>
Sure, using a real name has more 'impact', but it isn't worth risking your job.....
He's basically effected his whole working life now.
