All you need to know about the Silent Hill series, before SH: Homecoming is released!

Gothic Girl | September 28, 2008 | Blog | PC Playstation 2
With Silent Hill: Homecoming's release just a day away, Suwanneedemocrat.com has put together a brief rundown of each Silent Hill game, to catch up any newcomers to the series.

Slight Spoilers:
I'll summarize them in chronological order, starting with Origins and going from there. Please note that I'm only going to state the canonical endings, if you want to see the other ones, you should buy or rent the games. I highly recommend these games to any survival-horror fan, but be warned: the Silent Hill series is incredibly graphic and disturbing. You should not play them unless you're mature enough to handle the content. And remember, this article contains major spoilers although I've tried to leave some of the more interesting plot points vague so I don't ruin the games for anyone.

SH2 = best in the series. At least in terms of story and how much it *bleep*s with your mind. Awesome stuff.

Considering that there's a damn good chance that Homecoming has absolutely little to no relevance to the other SH's other than the fact that it's doing the same thing that SH2 is doing and Travis from SH0 appears (which kinda ruins the whole alternate endings thing in SH0)...why do future SH:H owners need to know the details about past games?
