What happened to the console war?
This article lists some reasons why the PS3 will rule the holiday season. The list includes many well known PS3 exclusives, and also includes some features of the PS3. Parts of the list might seem controversial, considering some things on the list are old (Yes Old Snake is Old!). Other things don't even generate profits for Sony. Still, this is a good way to see whats in store for the PS3 at the end of 2008.
Sony called 2008 the year of the PlayStation 3. Whether or not thats been the truth is up for debate, but theres been there are few people who can argue the PS3 is finally hitting its long awaited stride. Patient PS3 owners are finally getting their moneys worth this holiday season. Sonys holiday lineup is packed to the brim with quality exclusives and content that you wont find anywhere else. Add in the numerous multiplatform games on their way for Christmas and the PS3 will have a library well worth investing in, even for the most jaded Sony consumer. Not convinced? No worries, TGR is here to show you the light with ten great reasons the PS3 will come out on top this holiday season.

Seriously, who approves this stuff?
But uhh..I dunno. At least at the moment we choose not to refuse it..people read it, yknow. I imagine if enough people are fed up with it and views are low for this sort of thing, maybe we'll cut down..I believe we have in the past.
In either case it appears to be a well written article. If it was just written in ordinary blog format without the "10 reasons" part in the article at all..I'd bet you'd react differently..
Srrysly Crap like this shouldn't get through.
It's one poor ass list anyway, Killzone 2? That's coming out in February, tards.
Its more like a Christmas list, than a "top 10 reason Why"
"Why PS3 will concquer Christmas"
Might as well just cut it short and say these games peoople should get, or look forward to, over the christmas period.'
I could make a Wii and 360 one and then do a sweeping generalisation like this....
No shit people are going to enjoy them because anything that has something remotely close to the gaming world, they jump on it. For *bleep* sakes, you're acting like I truly believe that no one here will ever like these which is blatantly obvious that I realise people do but am not referring to that. Which is why I said, way to take things incredibly literal. The point is, generally people are getting sick of these and you can just look at that before you start shitting yourselves over that statement.
People like these news and will continue to read it, comment about it with their thoughts and contribute. All you seem to do on articles like this is complain. I like these types of articles, it gives me more indepth to see how true(or other personal taste and opinions of others) it can be. Again 2 of those games won't do much but the other 8 can definitely back up how Sony could win the holiday season.
As for the list, the only two things I disagree with is Bioshock and Killzone 2. Bioshock because it really has nothing extraordinarily new to offer that you can't get from the PC version. Granted, not everyone has a PC to run it so I give it that. Killzone 2 because, like someone mentioned it wont even be out for the Holidays.
If you want to get into HD movies the PS3 is pretty much the way to go rather than getting a stand alone Blu-Ray player. LBP is a given, MGS4 is also a given . Yes, MGS4 came out months ago but kids who aren't spoiled and can't afford to get a game every time it comes out has to wait for things like Birthdays and Christmas.
