Lifesize set of 7 foot tall power armor from Fallout 3 arrives at UGO....

So I was shocked when I heard all the commotion and received an AIM message to head over to the lunch room for a photo opportunity. Bethesda sent us one of the Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor statues popping up at retail outlets across the country. Pictures included, enjoy!

A few weeks ago, we were contacted by Bethesda to see if we had any interest in a life-sized Brotherhood of Steel statue from Fallout 3. Um, yes. Yes, we do. And today it came.

    Lol, my nearest Gamestop manager is getting one for his store and he's been talking to me about it for so long. It's made me excited to see it even though I won't be getting the game.

      Not getting it? Care to say why not? I have some friends also not all that excited, then again they never played Fallout 1 or 2, so there isn't that connection with the fiction.

        From the gameplay that I've seen it just doesn't look like I'd be into it that much. I'll have to play it if one of my friends picks it up and see if I like how it's played out though. If it's like Oblivion I won't pick it up though, I never got into it.

          It is similar but only because it uses a modified Oblivion engine, but third-person is handled better from what I've seen and IMHO, while I love Bethesda's Elder Scrolls setting, the Fallout setting is just so, so much cooler.

          The combat system video that I saw, I think it was for Fallout3 at least looked kind of lame, IDK if it was for Fallout or something else though. Having guns instead of swords is a plus already though.
