Behind its Unreal Engine Technology, Epic Games has helped several developers push the boundaries of their abilities by providing them with a powerful suite of tools to aid in the development process.

MyReviewPoint.com asks if Nintendo should follow Epic's lead and deliver a suite of tools to help aid developers and publishers as they create titles for the Wii console.

The Nintendo Engine could provide the necessary blue print for all developers to refer to as they design their titles for the Wii. It also allows for a stronger dedication to the development of gameplay and controls, a focal point for Nintendo in this generation thanks to the Wii-Remote.

Good idea, but its up to the devs whether they want to put effort making games on the Wii.

I think it would be very helpful to the 3rd parties if they did. Many of the 3rd party games on the Wii so far are fairly mediocre, Nintendo may as well do whatever they can to help.
