Benjamin Cormack of gotgame.com has made a blog after the recent announcement of the new DSi. He doesn't sound very happy, stating "The DSi is not what I would call a worthy successor to the DS". He then decided to make a list of what would make him happy.

This included such aspects as bigger screens, better sound because "Stone walls do not a prison make, nor do six holes make a speaker!", the option for batteries to be removed for recharging or just your normal batteries, an inbuilt balance sensor, a bigger D-pad, the possibility of going back to one screen much larger keeping touch pad capabilities and generally more like an iPhone and the hot topic of the removal of the GBA slot on the DSi, will backwards compatibility return?

With all these suggestions, Benjamin doesn't sound like a happy gamer. Do these suggestions interest you, or do you have some of your own not covered?

We all love our DS, but what about the next handheld console from Nintendo? Will it have slight differences from the DS, or could it be something entirely different? Could Nintendo even go from two screens back to one? After the premiere of the unimpressive DSi, I’ve got a REAL wish-list for Nintendo. The DSi is not what I would call a worthy successor to the DS. While a camera and an internet browser are nice, they don’t exactly add to the gameplay.
