With reports ranging from severe drum sensitivity issues on the PS3, to a total failure of the drum set on the Xbox 360, Activision has been forced to make a public notice on their discussion forums.

Reader DarthMetalHope was scanning boards in advance of picking up Guitar Hero: World Tour today, and notices that for those who already have it, some are seeing sensitivity/operability problems with the drum kit. Enough that it's raising a big stink, and Activision has noticed.

The first one did, but Rock Band 2's drums are flawless. I went through about 8 RB1 kits, but so far my RB2 kit has held up perfectly since release.

Well i suppose when the next set of drums come round for GH, those will also be flawless.

Also, the Rock Band drums set weren't this bad. There have been many reports of it not registering at all, or it being too sensitive Although RB2 solved most of these problems, hopefully the next GH does as well.

Who is happy he didn't buy GH IV?

    I AM!

Seriously, GHIII and Rock Band are more than enough *bleep*ing instruments for me.

My roommate bought it and I played on the drums. I found myself getting pissed because I kept hitting the red one when it came up and it wouldn't work.

I'm just happy with getting Guitar Hero. I don't really have any need to get the whole Rock band. The guitar is enough for me.
