A Brief History of 3D Gaming

Dark Arcanine | October 27, 2008 | Blog | Misc
Edge-Online has done a blog of a brief history of 3D gaming, though five pages isn't exactly brief.

The articles discusses different techniques exhibited in video games in terms of 3D graphics. These range from 2D Vector Graphics to High Dynamic Range Rendering. Each has a good explanation of what it is, how it works and a picture to demonstrate it.

Sure shows how far graphics have come in the video game world.
