9 hours 34 mins ago
Since the announcement of the Saw video game, very little details have been released, until now. With new information brings new questions, especially on how the game will play.
The SAW video game will be a full-on third person horror experience, while maintaining the mystery, thrills and terror of the SAW universe. Players will try to figure out the secrets behind Jigsaws plan as well as what is in store for them, but there will also be plenty of action, puzzle solving and of course new and original traps in addition to some of the fan favorites sure to deliver all the gruesome aspects of SAW that we love.

Also, can't forget music score and cinematography, or else the torture scenes wouldn't be as awesome as they were without them. Now I just wanna watch Saw V already.
No thanks.
I'll stick to mindless gore, if that's okay.
Like it or not, Saw has evolved into a gory version of Scoobie-Doo without the bad ass dog. Comparing Portal to Saw is like saying Half Life is like Doom. Sure, they're both first person shooters, but Half Life has intelligence behind the gun, in the same respect, Portal is much more than a puzzle game. As complicated as the rooms are, there is a simple key to each one that is so obvious that you facepalm.
In the Saw series, the character is trapped and has to perform an obvious task that he or she does not want to do that is in some way connected to his or her life. Over and over again.
....rage...calming...
Also, Smoke, you have the best avatar I have ever seen (ever!)
It's understandable that Portal and Saw are not exactly great comparisons...but your severe understatement of Saw is irritating. At the same time I could say that all the main character in Portal has to solve puzzles with her Portal gun in order to proceed over and over throughout the entire game...but that would make it sound like some dull and repetitive game, wouldn't it? Especially when it's, in fact, pretty innovative.
