Microsoft Using PlayStation 3 Footage to Promote Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox 360

So, which version of the game has the best graphics, best price, best overall bang for your buck? Like many other games, Fallout 3 has too had some serious debates over which console got the best of the best when it cames to graphics. The folks over IGN have decided to take that discussion to the next level, however, by providing a full 7 page article on the perks of each of the different systems and which one is the best one to purchase!
Don't worry about the time it takes you to read the article, it is actually shorter than it looks, and does have some depth in to the variations between the three versions of the game!
The online extras and functionality is where the PS3 shows a few flaws. First off, the screen blurs and freezes for a few seconds every time a friend notification pops on screen. We solved this issue by turning off friend notifications. It was also announced that downloadable content will be available for Xbox 360 and PC but not PS3. We have yet to find out what this content is so we can't say this is a definite loss for PS3, but it is handy information to have before you make your purchase.
Both the PC and 360 also have achievements. The PC is a Games for Windows Live title, so it includes all the functionality common to that platform. The PS3 version lacks trophy support.
We also ran into bugs on all three versions of the game but the PS3 seemed to have slightly more issues than the other two. There were two instances where a scripted story sequence failed to progress and it was necessary to reload a save.

PC for the win! I can not wait until some clever modders start releasing mods for the game. From the PC menu you see an option for data files, hint hint, the magical interface that made Morrowind and Oblivion a far richer experience thanks to the mod content than their console counterparts.
So good!
Once I started playing with the AA turned down , and in window mode, it has been much more stable. But for me, the game has been buggy.
I think once you take the possibility of mods into account though, the PC version is the only way to go.
For me, Oblivion for the PC had frame rate issues every few minutes, and it probably froze up about once every hour. I even had a really good computer at the time.
I had to but it for the PS3. It sucked especially since I bought the special edition of Oblivion for the PC...
I also just did an upgrade, so that may be helping. Honestly, no crashes, no bugs, my only complaint has been the ho-hum third person run animation - same issue I had with watching my guy run around in Oblivion third person....
Kspiess also make sure vsync is off and you have no ram eating programs running in the background.
If you are still experiencing problems I can talk you through editing some of Fallout 3's system files (point out some variables) that I was able to use to tweak Oblivion before my pc upgrade.
Couldn't really care about PC version tbh.
Anyone who has proper factual evidence which suggests otherwise is free to correct me. But apparantly the PS3 has some graphical and technical issues.
PS3 version does have some graphical issues, but for the most part I didn't encounter any of the game breaking issues some people have experienced.
(Also, trophy support is post-release for the PS3, yet Achivements were there since launch.)
