Did SCEE Drops The Ball With Non-Worldwide R2 Release?

Waiting for Resistance 2 myself (another 8 days to go for those of you in EU, and just a week for the AU), I can certainly say that as far as I see it, SCEE and Insomniac certainly did 'drop the ball'... though I must say that my views of this are biased by the fact that I just want to play the game and not at all interested in one of R2's biggest competitors - Gears of War 2.

So here I am sitting here on the 20th of November 2008, Still waiting for Resistance 2 to drop in Europe. The game has been out in North America for two whole weeks now competing along side Gears Of War 2 for the Xbox 360. But what grinds my gears is that considering Sony and Insomniac wanted to come out on the same week as Gears 2, wouldn’t it have been more effective to have a world wide release?

    Whatever. I think gamers are still fixated on LBP anyway.

    Avid gamer - current lineup LBP & FALLOUT 3 & ROCKBAND 2 .. As gaming goes im good till killzone 2 which is amazing ( playing beta also along with those 3) I want to play R2 but just feel it will collect dust till I decide to play it. So ill wait.
