New Challenger: 3 Reasons Why Gaming Will Destroy Itself Part 1
9 hours 49 mins ago
Blend Games writes an article that speculates the mild sales of LittleBigPlanet to the overwhelming success of the LBP Beta. And that many gamers didn't buy the game because they already played the beta.
Sony seemed to put enough interest into the game to promote it as the next mascot-based title for the PlayStation brand. However, things didn't seem to look quite as grand when the NPD results were released, and LittleBigPlanet looked more like a single-A title rather than a triple-A system seller.

That was more a subtle swipe at Sony than anything else...
all my friends and i were in the beta, we loved it and bought the game, i don't even think LBP is doing that bad.
For a new IP its actually doing very good.
I shall quit now.
This article is full of FAIL.
If people are enjoying the game, then that's what counts.
What we need to know is the production costs, if the sale revenue overcomes that then it isn't a flop at all.
So yes, we give a shit.
These articles hating on LBP . . . sure are numerous. It seems that if LBP were so BAD like they claim . . . there wouldn't need to be so many articles supposedly "proving" or showing it because it would be obvious and show itself. Instead. . . it seems to prove itself otherwise.
