New Challenger: 3 Reasons Why Gaming Will Destroy Itself Part 1
10 hours 1 mins ago
OXCGN preps its readers for the onslaught of Christmas when the sales attract us to games, and our children like bees to honey.
Slip over to the site and check out the guide they have compiled for you.
With Christmas just around the corner (a fortnight is the measurement for around the corner. A month being down the road) and with the many Australian families given a government bonus to inject straight back into the veins of our dying economy, those ridiculously unaffordable consoles little Billy has been pestering you for may not be so far out of your reach any more. The question however is what makes the right Christmas present?
OXCGN isnt just about breathing life into the Xbox any more its about educating the consumer (well for the purpose of this article) in order for you to make the right purchases. The last thing you want is for little Billy on Christmas day opening up his present to find he has scored himself a copy of Viva Piñata when he has been longing for Halo 3 (dont worry we will explain later).

I think the Wii is going to destroy everything these holidays, followed by 360 then PS3.
There is a stats company that retailers use in Oz, not sure what it is though, but I'll do some digging to see if I can find it out.
We need to remember that the NPD stats are not indicative of all retailers or all figures, as they only represent around 2/3rds of retailers in the US so I'm told . . so they too have a somewhat flawed system for stats.
Someone from the US could perhaps enlighten us on that ??
