Oh 2008, you provided me with so much. From penis shaped levels on LittleBigPlanet to penis shaped monsters in Spore. From over sized sweater monkeys in Soul Calibur IV to Snake's ED in Metal Gear Solid 4. And when I wasn't busy gawking at virtual sex organs, I played some great games too.

But sometimes, videogame industry, you made me into a curmudgeon. I tried to stay positive, but then you didn't let me rip off Batman's head with Scorpion or you released Home in the middle of December, and, and... No, no you calm down.

Here it is, every moment you made me grit my teeth. These are all the times you broke my heart, you cruel mistress. You sexy, luscious cruel mistress.

    The MGS4 part was spot on. It was the reason I chose not to buy it, however, if they had mentioned the whole story to the 'fans' again, it wouldn't have exactly fitted into the series would it? I doubt it myself, it'd just make the game look cheesy.

    I played only half of 3 before I decided to get and play 4. I loved it, and I was only just introduced in to the series.

          I am leading the campaign to make Fallout 3 GOTY. If Not Fallout 3, Dead Space... since I am the only one that seems to enjoy the Mirrors Edge control scheme (on the ps3) and if I say MGS4, everyone will laugh and point at me while calling me a Kojima-fanboy... which I am...

      Thanks for the support Droid. The writer, Chris Plante, just posted his followup. Should be on grep soon. He was asked by one of our readers that questioned his "tone" as being too harsh if there was anything he did like this year, and his response (IMHO - not being biased cause he works with me) is awesome.
