Soulja Boy wins the showdown

Yes, it happens to be true, in the highly anticipated showdown between Soulja boy and MTV's Stephen Totilo the winner is..

Soulja boy?!

Afterwards, Soulja Boy offered Stephen a rematch, which he promptly accepted without hesitation.

The two started off the competition with Stephens choice, Geometry Wars, Then Soulja boy's game, Gears of War 2.

The Tiebreaker was decided between them, Street Fighter 2.

Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em to me in a voice message on Xbox Live last night: “I know you’re mad that you lost. So do some training and we’ll have a rematch. Then I’ll whup you again.”

I accept, Soulja Boy. I accept.

          No, because hating Soulja Boy is cool, and I'm a cool kid like all of you.

          But to be perfectly honest, I don't like Soulja Boy, but we don't know how good he is at games. Sure he's a cocky bastard with less than half a brain cell, but there's no reason to say that the guy who challenged sucks more at games than some one's little sisters.

          Can't we just admit that he MIGHT have SOME skill at video games?

          Stephen Totilo tried his hardest, and I feel sorry for the guy now because of all the unnecessary hate you're giving him.

          I don't hate Soulja Boy because it's "cool." I hate him because his music (along with Lil' Wayne) is destroying the image of hip-hop.

          I've no hate for Steve despite the lost, I just can't support SB in anyway possible. His music is just too awful.

      Both guys picked a game to play, then they had one game neither had played. GoW2 was Soulja Boy's game, and neither had played Street Fighter 2 HD. They also were playing the demo, so the only fighters available were Ryu and Ken.

      It was close, though. But I have no idea why I watched it...

    Having a best of 3 showdown on 3 completely different games was such a stupid idea, especially having each player pick their own game. How does that determine anything at all?

    That guy that lost was lame, Geometry Wars for his game? I agree with phowell23, I'm glad he lost. I could probably take Soulja Boy in Halo, but Gears I would get destroyed. He wasn't that bad, but then again things are probably different when theres teammates on both sides to change the tide for each player.

    He obviously chose Geometry wars because he was good at it.

    Just because you suck at that game doesn't mean he shouldn't choose it. He openly stated he sucked at FPS.

      No I just think it's lame that he chose an Arcade game for his choice. It's just how I feel about his choice. Also the tie breaker should've been Dash of Destruction .

    Why is everyone ragging on Steve? if he plays games for a living and still lost WITH help from Cliffy B and other developers, then that just means Soulja boy is a great gamer, why dont we watch the rematch to see how the whole thing ends.
