Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

A quick look into the flaws that have come about because the use (or overuse) of people using the Xbox Live Party Chat. A nice addition that maybe shouldn't be allowed in ranked games.
There was a time when I started my 360, jumped online, and messaged a friend to get out of Gears and pop in Halo. He would be greeted by the other people in our party ready to bullshit and kick ass while doing so. With the uprising of the Xbox Live Party Chat, those friends are leaving me with the choice of talking with them or trying to enjoy my game.
Initially I think that chatting with people who aren't playing the same game as me would be quite asinine, and it is, but I still found myself doing it up until recently, now I tend to deny party invites. Sure, it may seem like I'm being a dick, but when I throw in Call of Duty, that is what I want to play and be focused on. I have no doubts that there was some great events going on at school or work, but cant we discuss that as we throw grenades together?
This problem goes further than just pissing some people off on my friends list, it is now becoming an exploit of sorts in current games....

The guy is kinda crazy. I haven't noticed a huge drop in mic activity to the point where anything is silent. In fact, it's RARE for me to play Left 4 Dead without all four people talking (as long as it's shown they have a mic plugged in).
I've used party chat when both I and another friend were playing single player games like Fallout 3. That's it. Otherwise, don't choose to play Left 4 Dead while in a party, or just decline the invite in the first place.
The guy is stating something that I haven't even encountered in hours of gaming as the norm. He's prety far off.
The dropped mic activity has been very noticeable for me in specifically two games, Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty 4. I do not play either game while in a private party (unless it is CoD4's Team Tactical and I am with 3 people, and even then, I feel like I am cheating).
The problem comes with others who don't drop out of the party they are in while playing co-op games, it sucks. The only solution I could see that is reasonable, is disable party chat while in ranked games. Private matches or what not, who cares, but when I'm playing a team objective ranked game, it would really help matters if I could speak to my team.
Not that anyone is forcing me to read them, but dang, I never thought I'd miss those damn analyst editorials over this stuff.
Maybe these articles are supposed to be funny? Not sure.
