Playing Left 4 Dead Using Guitar Hero Drum Set

Ryan Rigney of SlapStic.com explores what it's like to play Left 4 Dead using a rather irregular control method. Hint: it doesn't work out so good, but at least it's possible to run!

No comment here. Just enjoy. The red pad is for taking one step, the orange pad is the quick turn, and the green pad is for jump.

      Pretty cool, must be an interesting experience, but I prefer mouse and keyboard to any game shooter-related.

    Meh. The video mainly consists of footage of him moving around in a circle, crouching, and moving forward a few feet. I could probably do the same thing with a regular controller using my feet.

    A clip of him using the drum set in a firefight and suviving would be pretty awesome, though. Which part of the drum set is the Right Trigger ?

      unfortunately, there is no way to fire when using the drum kit. Thus, you get a video of me running around in circles ;D

    I did this for CoD and Resistance. You can kind of map the buttons to where you can move and shoot, but there's no way to turn.
