2008 had tons of crazy moments in the world of gaming, and EuroGamer has decided to run through the events that happened from July all the way to December. They include the E3 conferences, the new 160 GB PS3, and Wii Music.

July

Microsoft kicked off this year's E3 with a raft of announcements, or rather a raft of confirmations of leaked Intellisponse data. The only thing missing was Bungie's big reveal, after Microsoft cancelled the unveiling at the last minute.

I was about to say I've had better but then I saw the picture of Lara Croft, made me realise I haven't.

2008 has been a pitiful year for the nintendo wii but at least its selling decently at a very low 250 price tag.

No direct mention of FFXIII -> 360?

    Well I'll be...

That's what I thought. I clicked on this article just to read about it. Probably the funniest, most insane moment of the year. Bummed out it's not there.

When I first stumbled upon it, I was wondering where FFXIII and the 360 was too. Wonder why it wasn't included...

Just goes to show you it wasn't that big during the year, since Playstation fans have come to expect things like this. Hopefully it'd be the last.

Wasn't that big? I haven't seen so many gamers freak the *bleep* out that much in my life. You're insane Final Blade.

          You obviously missed my point.

No, yeah, I saw that. Your point just happens to use the biggest argument AGAINST it as its support. It WAS that big during the year. Playstation fans DIDN'T expect it, otherwise there wouldn't have been mass suicides and death threats. It WON'T be the last.

Don't use your magic *bleep* logic and just leave this one alone, plz.

I know a LOT of gamers who really . . . didn't care much about the whole thing that went on. Yeah fanboys were upset, but fanboys get upset over everything just about. But as far as gamers themselves . . . . I'd say it wasn't as huge as some would say. Me personally I didn't care one way or another.

Now, this is said in hopes that it doesn't become the trend and water down many great exclusive titles (for each console) to where we get generic games.
