360 Fanboy says God of War III the Reason to Borrow a PS3

"Hardcore" gaming seems such an overused phrase these days. Gamersushi has put together a rather comical set of things, that according to them, a hardcore gamer should not admit, in order to preserve their hardcore reputation.
As those experienced in the realm of nerdery, we gamers know what it is like to be social outcasts more often than not. We understand that there are certain codes, unwritten rules to being a part of circles, and what must be done to infiltrate them.
The same is true of the gaming community, perhaps more so than other clubs. To keep our hardcore gaming membership card secure in our wallets, there are certain appearances we must uphold in order to earn the respect of the gaming community at large.
Thus, I have started a handy guide (this is merely volume 1) on those shameful things that you must under ALL circumstances keep to yourself. Doing so would be the equivalent to painting a big scarlet letter across your Internet handles. Also, you will earn many -1s to geek street cred, and we wouldnt want that. Not all of these are true about me, necessarily, but um, a few of them are to be sure. Oh, wait. Damn.

IMO the top 8 RPGs of all time (incuding Action-RPGs, I don't count Zelda as an RPG)
1. Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Final Fantasy 6 (or 3 as you may know it)
4. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
5. Earthbound
6. Mother 3
7. Paper Mario (64)
8. Super Mario RPG
I'm really curious as to why people like it, is there something I'm missing? Is it that it gets better at a certain point or am I playing the wrong version (I played the PSX original).
I also found Kingdom Hearts repetitive, Kingdom Hearts 2 was a little better but not something I'd pay for. The two Square Enix RPGs in my top 5 are the only Square Enix RPGs I've liked.
Superstar Saga and Partners in Time are both great RPGs, they have their own combat system, you look for clues in your opponents attack then use that to know how to avoid or counter them using either a jump or a hammer (sometimes by standing still), the original was better, more side-quests, longer game time, better battles, better humour (PiT's just became try hard after the upteenth time Luigi's head was used as a landing pad), although the sequal's music is arguably better. There is some platforming in there, along with a few mini-games, it's like Seven Stars but longer, with more to do and with more involvement in combat.
Doom was epic D: I liked FF VII as well. I may not agree with the whole thing, but it did get a laugh out of me.
And I'm sad to say that I use FAQs quite often.
Actually, it's Wii Sports, not the Wii itself.
And Heeeeey.
