gamedaily.com has taken a go at the fanboy theme and have come up with an article about how to act like one, from the talk to the walk. Learn how their brain works so you too can annoy everyone with your zealous fanaticism!

Video game fanboys (and fangirls, of course) are everywhere. We live in a culture of brand loyalty, and each of the big three (Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft) have a history that has garnered love from some and hate from others. Even the most stout platform agnostic probably has a little bit of fanboy deep down inside, either because of childhood memories, owning only one current generation console at a time, or one of other countless reasons. Here is a brief guide to know how to talk like a video game fanboy.

What does this have to do with fanboys? Turning every discussion into a battle was really the only one that was applicable.

Try all of them, the article was very spot on. I suggest taking everything you read from there, 'cause that's what the real fanboy does.

lol the last one is slightly over the top but no doubt it happens in places.

The only one that doesn't belong there is the use of acronyms. Everyone, no matter if you be a fanboy or not...everyone uses them. It is a faster and easier way of chatting and since the age of mobile phones, have become a lot more popular before being used in games.

In fact I never knew about FTW, QFT etc. until I started visiting Loungin' and the 4chan morons plagued the place
