Otronicon 2009 - Halo Wedding, The Ultimate Rock Band Drum Kit, plus more pictures & video

Otronicon in Orlando, FL has really grown up as a gaming convention. Go to source for a bunch (seriously a lot) of videos and pictures from the even. Rock Band on a full stage (with a real drum kit), a real wedding, and lots and lots of games.

My initial intention was to check out the "Halo Wedding" (a couple who met playing Halo online and now were getting married publicly at Otronicon) and my other reason was to play on "The Ultimate Rock Band Drum Kit."


Both my dreams came true and much more. I had been to Otronicon in the past, being held at the Science Center and not being as big, it really felt more like an exhibit than a video game convention. This year, it felt a bit bigger and slightly more organized.

    How does Star Wars fit into all of this? (bottom row, middle picture)
    I heard of a couple marrying in WoW, but the marriage was crashed by party crashers and the bride and groom died.

      Lol, Did you hear about that one when people were holding a funeral for this girl that died and then this clan game and started a massive riot by killing people.

      Lol, That was harsh. You can watch the video on youtube, its like all these people in a line like waiting to say something then suddenly this guy gets killed and everyone just panics and is running around attack anything that moves.

      The 501st Legion ( http://www.501stlegion.org/ ) was present during the whole Otronicon (not the wedding portion).
