Japanese Singer Realizes She Looks Like A Final Fantasy Character

Morning Musume singer Mari Yaguchi was thrilled to discover that many of her fans believe she looks like Final Fantasy XIII character, Oerba Dia Vanille.
So what do you think? Do you see a resemblance, or not?

In a recent blog update, Yaguchi writes that she discovered during the Famitsu interview that there have been comments that she totally looks like a character in Final Fantasy XIII.

And Yaguchan's reaction?

    It's no secret that the character designer in question is obsessed with J-Pop stars, and has based (if not heavily influenced by) many designs on these stars.

    So much for originality. Fans are practically a brand themselves now. :\

    They look a little alike. Hairstyle, nose and eyes match.

    I don't see the resemblance. Really, I don't. The eyes and facial shape are not the same, and that's a big factor.

    I don't see many huge resemblances really, besides the hair. The most obvious being that Mari is Asian looking and the Final Fantasy character is more Caucasian looking to me.

    The hair and lips, but that's it. Mari is prettier imo.
