That Gaming Site takes a gander into the pros of fanboys in the gaming community and maybe why we should all appreciate them more. Though I can't agree fully with the article, I do understand it's basis and am amused by it.

The following is a tribute to fanboys everywhere, regardless of any anger you may personally feel towards them. That Game Site has recently spent considerable time reflecting on the videogame industry and has realized that for all the problems fanboys cause they do a lot of good. It is about time someone pointed out the benefit they are to the business and gave them the proper 'thank you' they deserve.

I can see the point the writer is making. What I hate are people that criticize another console and have never played on it. What does it make a person that enjoys all three (Wii, PS3 and XBox360) consoles? I don't mind a fanboy's passion for his favorite console. I hate the ones that scream "FOUL! QUIT YOUR WHINING!" when you say "The PSN is slow." or "My 360 died!" and "The Wii is only 408p!?". It's like I'm supposed to expect the 360 to die (and except it with a smile), the PSN is free (even though I just spent money for what I'm downloading) and the Wii is perfect (because Wii don't deserve anything higher than 480p).

    I dislike anti-fanboy's more than fanboy's.

You know, the one's who go into an apoplectic rage as soon as anyone criticises anything about any console.
