Alicia Ashby of omgnintendo.blogfaction.com covers five reasons of how Nintendo did a really bad job with WiiWare for the Wii. She offers points such as the lack of memory space and poor releases.

Face it, Nintendo: you've completely screwed up WiiWare. As one of my many free public services to you, I shall carefully outline the five ways you've managed to do this, and offer common-sense solutions for addressing the main problems where I can. At this point, though, some of the problems are almost intractable. You screwed this one up pretty bad, Nintendo-- so bad it ran guys who publish adventure games off to the competition's inferior controller.

After all, the Wii is considered a toy and not a gaming console, so meh.
Also, I didn't initially state this, but I swear I've heard it mentioned NUMEROUS times.

Why it that I feel your first sentence has no relation to the article and you just slapped it on to bash the Wii and it's owners?

You can't say that the Wii is not a gaming console.

It is a console. It plays games. It is a gaming console.

It just happens to be inferior to other systems, but that's why they always say that you get more bang for your buck.

I kind of agree with this. But look at World of Goo, just 15 bucks and it beats most actual Wii games worth 30 bucks or more.

Anyway, I kind of agree with this article as well. Nintendo need to do some work fixing this thing.

However, there a few amazing games already on there, so I think people see through all the little things (except the amount of shit on there) and just have fun playing the games.

    I agree.

I was expecting such great things with WiiWare, such as new 2D Zeldas or Marios, or even remakes of old classic games, but all we've really gotten is like two decent games (LostWinds and World of Goo) and a bunch of crappy puzzle games. Oh why oh why must Nintendo always screw everything up?

LostWinds wasn't exactly great, too easy and it's only about 3 hours long. It was unique, but I got bored of it rather quickly.

Well compared to most of the crap on WiiWare, LostWinds is AMAZING.

And compared to anything else you can buy with 1000 Wii points, it's crap.
