Needs coop. Coop would've made KZ2 perfect.

I agree, from what I've played so far it feels like co-op could've been added to it. You're always with that one guy(don't know his name) off on your side missions to help further the big missions.

Garza? Yeah, I know watcha mean. I thought the game felt like it was designed for coop, but somehow it got overlooked.

Yes his name rings a bell, I've now played 2 full missions(online is too addicting) and he has been there the entire time, unless some point in the story he's going to die and that being the reason to avoid co-op. Would there be technical limitations to doing co-op?

Apparently they didn't add Co-Op because they programmed the Campaign to have very little to no loading times in each level. This can cause conflicts with the Co-Op and they didn't really think about it till around halfway through production.

Why are we talking about KZ3 already? it hasn't even been three days yet for KZ2 to come out!

good question. i was surprised at how well KZ2 is being liked, considering what a steaming pile Killzone 1 was. right now KZ2 has a 91/100 on Metacritic, which is great for being a PS3 shooter but i would have thought it would be higher going by the amount of attention its getting.

I'm with you. With all the hype surrounding the game, and the immense expectations, many expected it to have ranked higher. That being said, 91/100 is still a great achievement. Mass Effect only has a 90/100 on metacritic, but it's a brilliant game.

Mass Effect has 91 on Metacritic as well, not 90...

But yeah, I agree. I haven't bought KZ2 yet, as I'm still contemplating whether or not to get it or Halo Wars first. But when I do I know I'll enjoy it.

I wouldn't go as far as to say KZ1 was a steaming pile, KZ1 was actually a great game, it was just way too overhyped.

          Message.

I'm pretty sure that's when the whole "Halo Killer" thing was thrown into high gear. So much so that even this no-name FPS Fire Warrior spin off of Warhammer 40K (PS2) was ambushed by the "Halo killer" squad as well.

People have probably been talking about KZ3 before KZ2 was out . Besides, gaming sites and mags get the games in advance for reviews and the like, so by now they've been there, done that and bought the Helghast souvenirs.

They're already suggesting ideas for the 3rd game? Don't get too ahead of yourselves!

How is that getting too ahead? Most companies start their ideas or production of their next game even before their current game is released.
