As the pilot "episode" of his Dear Developers column, Lwelyk states five key changes that he would like to see for the next game in the SMT: Persona series.

Once again I have a new column, Dear Developers. This will be a wish-list of what I, or whoever else contributes to the column, want in the next iteration of a franchise. Things that could be improved, things that could be removed, and things that would just be awesome. For the pilot, I figured I’d do what is now my favorite game series, Persona.

There's actually some good ideas they had. It'd be nice to be able to play female or male (so female gamers wouldn't always have to be a male going after the females), and while I enjoyed the social links in P3 and moreso in P4, it'd be nice to have them better integrated into the storyline of the game.

I'm not a fan of the whole "grown up" thing though. I really like the appeal of it being younger kids that are just starting to really experience the real world and can do everything as kids. Having it be run by a guy that works somewhere and already having a grasp on the real world would just kind of ruin it for me.
