Whats with no Internet Explorer for the 360 many people want it and it could easily be made for the 360.

The Microsoft Points System system is there to confuse people, making them spend more money, but it also helps other countries by making things cost the same amount of points everywhere.

IE would be a complete waste of time. The number of people who have a 360 with Live but don't have a PC is negligible.

And the MS points system is a waste of time. Sure, a game may be 800 points everywhere, but 800 points won't cost the same amount everywhere.

Right, since when was more freedom, functions, and options a bad thing? In the article the author mentions watching Hulu via his PS3 without leaving the couch. That isn't life changing, but it sure is awesome.

i would imagine the xbox 360 has internal memory which the firmware is stored on - which probably isn't all too big. adding unnecessary things like a web browser takes up space that could be used for functions that are actually relevant to the purpose of the console = games.

Bandito if that was the case then why did they release The NXE dashboard? If anything is pointless and unnecessary it's the avatar system.

And what's with my previous comment being reported?

Bandito, let me repeat myself; since when is increased capability, more OPTIONS (meaning you don't have to), and new functions bad? I think my 360's HDD has MORE than enough space for a web browser.

          Foul and abusive language?
Mr Hun is this one of your strange jokes?
Is there something specific that I said, some word with a double meaning in the UK that I'm not aware of?
Tiger of Wu says all kinds of stuff to you without you reporting him.
Also abuse of the report feature is not looked at kindly around here.

Don't worry, if Tiger of Wu continues to use the same abusive term that you've used his post will be reported too.

You obviously are if you are reporting people for non-existant foul language.

nice try though, but i think you can troll a little better then this.

          No, I'm not.

There's a common, offensive word in both posts. It's incredibly offensive.

I'm not getting butthurt over it, I'm going through the proper channels to remove such inappropriate content.

Care to enlighten us? I'm sure you're the only person who can see such phantom Foul and abusive language here.

Haha, unless you're actually reporting for him calling you Hun. Thats classic. HAHA!!

You obviously have no idea how offensive that word is in Scotland.

Huns don't want to be called huns because they're huns, and non-huns such as myself, don't want to be called it because we don't want to be lumped in with the huns.

Do a wee bit of homework before immediately dismissing my complaint. You'll see it's quite rational.

Yeah, I already made the mistake of abbreviating his name to "Huns" once. Fortunately it was accidental so I got off easy

But going as far as to report people for saying that when you know full well they are just shortening your name is a little pathetic, And no. I won't do my 'homework', Haha, did you seriously expect everyone from any country other then scotland on this site to know what a Hun is and how offensivly you'd take it? Do you know all the 'foul' and 'abusive' lingo for every other country in the world too? I'm guessing you must because you wouldn't want to be a hypocrite would you.

Jesus christ what a whingebag. You obviously have no Foresight if you didn't see people shortening your name to Hun do you. Thats like me calling my self Facktardkiller and moaning when people call me facktard

Well, I would've thought the skelper thing would've made it obvious I'm anti-hun.

Guess I gave the internet community a little too much credit.

Also, you know the frequent occasions when I have asked people not to call me hun, why did you think that was? For the banter?

I don't know about any of those times, What do you think i follow your posts or something

And to be fair, i never even thought of your name as 2 words because i never pay much attention to things like that, and tbh i expect to shorten names when i get lazy and not have to be reported over it. But then thats going back to foresight. Don't have a thing you hate at the beginning of your name or else you're be doing alot of reporting

Also, tried to find what on earth a hun even is, a turkish confederate is all i could find. erk.

          It's an anti-Irish, anti-Catholic bigot.

As someone with (distant) Irish roots and half my family are Catholic it's incredibly offensive.

Ok, well then i apoligize for supposedly insulting you. But you can't expect people to go researching cultural lingo on wiki everytime they feel like just shortening a name offhand, espeically if you go around reporting people whilst not actually saying that actual word you thought was vulgar:<

@Hunskelper, I apologize for having no knowledge of offensive Scottish terms, but wow could you have picked a worse name? You really need to think of something better up next time you pick a screen name, and try not to blow things out of proportion. Also put something in your profile about this because probably 99% of the people on this site see no problem with word Hun.

The only definition I could find for the word when I did a wee bit of homework is from Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary.
(One of a warlike nomadic people of Northern Asia who, in the 5th century, under Atilla, invaded and conquered a great part of Europe.)

People aren't trying to offend you, the description above is what most people are thinking by hun, so next time it comes up just let it go.
One more thing when you go around the site acting like a fool nobody is going to take you seriously when you say you have a problem with something.

So leave the option to uninstall the program. If MS is going to sign a licensing agreement with netflix, and everyone lauds that move, how is adding more functionality a bad thing? You really don't need to defend a company for not adding a feature. Arguing against progress sounds and is stupid.

Yeah, I've heard all that before, it would much more convenient for me. I would like to watch Internet TV shows without using a computer like what the PS3 can do.
What do they have to loose by adding a browser? If you don't like it you don't have to use it. I just think it would be a great addition to the 360, it already has the chat pad for inputting text, it would be great looking something up quickly or using Facebook, Twitter ect.

I posted this comment again because nothing was inappropriate or wrong with it.
