Resistance 2 is crap, the real classic is R:FoM. I havent played LBP so I cant speak for that.

While some may not like the game I think it hardly deserves to be labeled as crap. You would classify Resistance 2 with the likes of Gundam: Crossfire, Haze and Lair?

Love and own both games, along with MGS4 they are my favorite titles.

LittleBigPlanet is amazing and this is comign from someone who thought the game was kiddyish, but it isn't and it's a great bunch of fun!

I definitely agree with LBP, but not so much with Resistance. It's a really well made FPS and deserves praise, but it is in no way a classic.

Resistance 2 was a letdown, RFOM was much better.

LBP is an instant classic, there's definitely no debating that.

Resistance 2 was a great game but if its a classic or not is debatable. Will you remember Nathan Hale in 10 years times? Maybe or maybe not.

LBP, definetly a classic. Another game that should be included as an instant classic is MGS4...OMG I LOVE THAT GAME

I didn't like R2 much...It had an interesting concept, but didn't have enough oomph to keep me attracted to it.

LBP is ok. Making levels is hard as hell, though >.

I agree. My only gripe with LBP is that I have zero creativity. Thank god for being able to download levels and such.

Agreed, I played Resistance: FOM all the way through. I played Resistance 2 for about three hours. I just didn't have fun with it. Scale was epic as all hell though.

My only gripe with LBP is that I get lag all the time, I have to play locally or single player. Which takes a lot of fun from the game.

You're talking of the single player, right Seproth?

About Resistance? Yeah, I only played single player.

Yeah, talking about Resistance 2. I'm wanting to get the game because I have to finish a series if I started it . . . but is it really that boring that you couldn't get through it?

Well, the story is continued, and the scale is great.

Something in the gameplay was missing for me though, and the difficulty was random. It'd go from really easy to really hard, and then be really easy again. So I got frustrated on top of it.

If you really liked Resistance one I'd pick it up, but seeing as you've waited this long. It may be a good idea to hold out for a price drop.

Ah, okay, I gotcha now. Yeah I guess I'll just wait until a price drop. I just hope that it doesn't take until the release of the next Resistance too!

    ...

If Resistance 2 is crap, then Fall of Man is *bleep*ing abysmal.

QFT. FoM got so boring after a while, and it really didn't do anything that hadn't already been done in other FPS games.

I agree, F.o.M wasn't as great as it should have been.

I still haven't bought R2 but I really want to. Not really for the game itself because I'm not much of a shooter fan, but for the storyline. I started the series with the first game, and now I HAVE to finish it whether I like it or not. I guess a little OCD I suppose. But I've kinda been putting it off for other games I know I'll like, such as R&CF:ACIT and a few others coming this year.

I had Resistance 2 for about 3 weeks. Online was okay, capaign was horrible imo. Scale was huge, but the characters and weapons didn't interest me much. I traded it in for LBP, and I am very happy with my decision. It's awesome to see a popular game that's not an FPS.
