When "acclaimed" game developer Wisdom Tree released Spiritual Warfare, they simply wanted to scam a few dollars out of some impressionable, overprotective parents looking for a cheap 'The Legend of Zelda' knock-off.

What they wound up making was a game that promoted pelting police officers with fresh fruit while waging war against Satan's personal army of demonic ninjas from the suburbs.

Spiritual Warfare is one of those games that you aren’t entirely sure what to make of. On one hand the game is a shameless rip-off of The Legend of Zelda which tries to shoehorn several Christian themes that, frankly, are painfully unnecessary. On the other hand, it’s a shameless rip-off of The Legend of Zelda, which you would think bodes well for the game.

…and on yet another hand on our mythical Goro-beast, Spiritual Warfare is the most inadvertently awesome game ever made.

I remember hearing about Wisdom Tree on Angry Video Game Nerd.

Making christian games without Nintendo's permission...kind of odd.
