Dylan Nelson of My Secret Online Thoughts delves into the times when it appears as though video games have found a way into real life. Sometimes fact is just as strange as fiction.

It’s an accepted fact that video games aren’t real. Of course some people would like to tell you that you don’t know the difference between video games and reality (*cough* Jack Thompson of course *cough*). Well, sometimes the line is actually blurred. It would appear that video games have seeped into our reality from time to time, and it’s only a matter of days, months, or years before we have to deal with the emerging video game menace. So why not prepare ahead of time by taking a look at the events that have already happened. Whaddya say?

Hmmm interesting article. The hitman one was hilarious. "Local boy hires a hitman after his mum confiscates his playstation".

man, the problem is not reality, the lines are clear. The problem is, that the majority of people are *bleep*ing stupid idiots. Ergo they fill their lives completely and utterly with nothing but meaningless games. Ergo, they replicate those games when they realise they have nothing else. Ergo another idiot sees them in the papers and gets a bright idea. Ergo the cycle starts again. Ergo the damnation of mankind and all humanity due to the self-imposed mental shackles of people who are very very capable of intelligence, but instead choose to keep within the "safe" defined limits of the idiot. Ergo no progression. Ergo stagnation. Ergo collapse and decay. Ergo that's-what-you-get-for-being-a-stupid-reponsibility-shunning-shirk-you-cocksucker. you blew it up. Damn you all.

IT WAS EARTH ALL ALONG!!!!!! YOOOOOU IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!

That spider is scary. These stories are also interesting. But that spider.... You could have chosen another picture brrrrrrrr (yep, I'm afraid of spiders, I hate spiders, when they're present in my videogames, like in Tomb Raider 2 or Doom 3, I'm trying not to look too much my screen).

Hahaha, I like that spider one. Yeah . . . I don't think it'd be too cool to go the science route of spider-people. I'd rather Spiderman's abilities
