Alex Trowers worked at Bullfrog during it's hey day and was responsible for designing all the levels in Syndicate, Bullfog's most prolific title. Alex himself has written this feature - The Making of Syndicate.

Towards the end of POP2, we decided to try and figure out what it was that we actually wanted to do next. This called for inspiration. This called for Pizza Hut. There then followed an evening of intense “wouldn’t it be cool if...” discussions, interspersed with Sean (Cooper – Lead Code) attempting to chat up the waitress and Peter’s “who likes me?” affirmations. The raw design ideas were, quite literally, jotted down on the back of a napkin and brought back to the office.
