Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
18 hours 59 mins ago
OXCGN's newest writer Beth Sasagi looks at the high probability that Mass Effects 2 could well be THE greatest console RPG to even grace the screens of 360 and Pc owners.
Hopefully PS3 owners will enjoy that privilege as well. As the game deserves as much exposure as it can get, and all gamers should have access to it, irrespective of platform.
It’s the game so many of us are waiting for after being left to wonder at the end of 2007 about the fate of the Reapers and the future of humanity. Mass Effect 2 has been on gamers’ minds recently after the release of the teaser that left us on the edge of our seats with our jaws on the keyboard.
So many questions were left to the viewer to wonder about. Why is there a Geth in N7 armor? Will we get new alien races or allies? And most importantly, is Shepard REALLY dead?
Playing KOTOR was great (being a Jedi and all), charging through post-apocalyptic America was pretty fun (for a while), and running around Albion became old after a time. But chasing a rouge Spectre to the edges of civilized space, trying to prevent him from releasing a dormant species of colossal destroyer and dealing with an armada of synthetic soldiers…. Priceless.

Although I love space so it was like a perfect game. :3
Cant wait for this one.
There wasn't one original idea in the game. I'm not saying this to trash the game -- I love Mass Effect -- put just wanted to point this out.
Those four syllables send chills down my spine...
i dont like the article though. There was a lot more to KOTOR, Fallout, and Fable than what's said there, and if we wanted to pessimistically "pigeon-hole" Mass Effect in the same style, you could just as easily say 'OHHHHHH BEING A SPACE ADVENTURER WAS FUN - for a while'. All games get boring, thats why they make new ones.
And I thought the Geth in the trailer was HOLDING the bloodied Onyx N7 armor, not wearing it...
It looks to me like it says N7 on the chestplate, but I dunno if that's the geth's actual chestplate or if it's holding it like you said. I spose that's the point though
or better to say, best western RPG ever.
I might get this for PC.
I know that. However ME is one of the very few Sci fi games to use the "Star Trek" approach for exploration very nicely, to my knowledge anyways.
Mass Effect has done and is doing for RPGs what Halo did for FPSes and WoW is doing for online games. (I know, I'm a hypocrite on the WoW subject...
And to think, the Mass Effect series is rumored to be a trilogy.

EDIT: And MGS4 is garbage. So thumbs down to whoever mentioned it.
Translation: My opinion is better than yours, and I will berate anyone online for agreeing otherwise.
Hope your ego feels better afterwards.
And you guys are right; MGS4 isn't garbage. As FFF pointed out, it's mediocre. I mean, as a MOVIE, its fantastic though.
Yes, look at me rabidly defending the games that I like and insulting other people that say otherwise. I totally flamed FFF for stating his opinion about MGS4, very immature-like and whatnot. Oh wait...damn, I wasn't actually defending anything, swing and a miss.
You can try again if you'd like.
It's mediocre.
