Swine flu is sweeping the globe and not even video game universes are safe from this epidemic. Breaking updates on the status of Hyrule Kingdom, the Animal Crossing City and more. Plus a special update on President Obama.

Sea islands off the coast of the Kingdom of Hyrule have been hit with devastating losses so far. One eye witness account illustrates the horror in the cel-shaded kingdom: “The pigs were going *bleep*ing mental man. Snorting, squealing and grunting all over the place. There was blood everywhere. Fortunately, Link was there. He was trying to save them with some kind of pork injection but it wasn’t working. They just kept dying. Oh man the blood.” On going to press, weird rumours report popular pederast, Tingle, has dressed as a pig and is looking for Link. More when we get it.

So . . . this is a joke blog/article? I was expecting something like devs including a flu virus in the backstory of some of their games as you play it.

And that B.O. had gotten the flu himself.

I suppose that we should expect an independent iPhone or web game on it, as someone released a game about modern piracy on Apple's machine.

Swine flu is sweeping the globe... this epidemic.
    Geez... over exaggeration much?

I'm so sick of this media bullshit already. Please keep it out of my video game articles. Thanks.

It is sweeping the globe, and it is an epidemic.

The problem is that it's slightly worse than the normal flu, and of course there's no vaccine for it. It's really not going to kill anyone the normal flu wouldn't, extremely young and old.

I agree though, unless Kojima or someone gets it, I really don't wanna read about it at GameGrep too.

Well there's basic medicine to treat it's symptoms and make them better, just like the seasonal flu. It's not really any worse than the seasonal flu, it just has scarier symptoms.

It's also not new. The Swine Flu has hit twice in the past.

There is no sarcasm in the following post:

Is this supposed to be a funny "article?"

      My thoughts exactly.

*Some more words and some more and some more to surely bring it over 25 characters!*
