What the *bleep* did Halo 3 do? It sold lots of copies but like the original Halo games it didn't influence a thing. Gears of War sure as it brought to the front a gameplay element that had all but died out. But Halo 3, seriously not influencial seriously overhyped.

Its probably writted by a trainee journalist trying to appeal to a wider audience. I wouldn't worry!

So Halo 3 has had no influence on the success of the Xbox 360? Yeah right! Think about your comments before writing them.

I think the articles saying about how games have influenced OTHER GAMES, not console sales or the success of a particular console.

If anything MGS4 should be on there. Reason? Giving a damn about storyline. Halo 3 did nothing more than be Halo.

I personally, dont think Halo the game is nothing that great, but the match making system that has be brought in would be and I think that would be one of the points the writer is making.

Wiifit people. Wiifit, its a game that calls you fat.

Maybe Nintendo should be influential since they make games calling you fat and still make money.

Halo 3 Made it onto the list.
Clearly the author hasn't played Metal Gear Solid 4.

Because you didn't have to understand/conprehend the story in order to appreciate the sheer atmosphere of characters, characterisation itself; the atmosphere and set pieces within the story, and the crafty clever mix of old gameplay mechanics still holding strong against the new.

    Motorbike scene anyone?
