A quick look at a few first and third person shooters that could use sequels. To prevent the list from being too lengthy, games where sequels may be inevitable weren't taken into consideration.

While many people are excited about the re-mastered version that will arrive via Xbox Live Arcade, I’m still hoping to see a true sequel that will live up to the lineage of the original Perfect Dark.

Anybody remember Black? That needs to be on there. For its time, the graphics and guns were great.

Wanted? Quantum of Solace? Terminator: Salvation? What kind of shitty list is that?

The Darkness is seriously the most UNDERRATED game of all time. No one ever talks about it, yet its one of my favorite games.

    I'd definitely buy a sequel.

Absolutely, it would also be interesting if they tried Witchblade and the Angulus from the comics related to The Darkness.

Or give us total control over those two heads. They have razor sharp teeth, yet when I have no bullets and not enough darkness for the impale atatck, they can't rip someone's head or arms off.

Website looks like it's been coded in Frontpage.

And I hate the emphasis on sequels within gaming. I'd prefer a new IP to a sequel of most of the games on this last (save TS).

WTF? this is stupidest-ass list ive ever seen. Timesplitters 4 is all but confirmed, so it doesnt even need to be on the list at all. Wanted, Terminator, QoS? is the author of this article 12 years old? the only thing on that list that halfway makes sense is Perfect Dark (and they are rereleasing the original one on XBLA and i wouldnt be surprised if they make another one if it sells well). everything else doesnt need to be there or is a stupid thing to want a sequel of, i.e. TimeShiftShit. that game sucked giant gorilla nuts.

time for a new list. lets try, um how about oh i dunno the friggin DUKE NUKEM game we were promised over 10 years ago. or when the hell is the sequel to Indigo Prophecy ever gonna happen, IF it happens? that game was sweet and if anything that game needs a sequel. and im still waiting for the next Kingdom Under Fire proper, that takes it back to the roots of field warfare from Xbox like its supposed to be, not that crap Circle of Doom action game they made.

    Megaman Legends...

Although, the possibility of a sequel, for any game, by any company, brings about the possibility of a flop.

NiGHTs is a good example, Journey of Dreams wasn't bad, but players of the original had their expectations set too high. We'll never be pleased.
