Plenty of games were shown at E3. So much that you might have lost track of some. While others blew you away, there was one game that had it all, the game that stole E3, of course that is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

There were so many great games shown off at this year's E3 I'm still reeling from the excitement. It seemed like the "Big Three" console makers each brought their 'A' game as their press conferences were for the most part, very impressive. With so many great games on display, it was hard to choose my best of show pick, in fact I debated over it for hours. Splinter Cell: Conviction brought the visuals, God of War 3 brought the action, New Super Mario Bros. Wii brought the multiplayer, Modern Warfare 2 brought the gunplay, but it was Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves that really seemed to have it all.

I agree. Uncharted 2 blew me away, i cannot believe that a sequel to one of the best looking games ever made could take such a leap visually and gameplay wise. Uncharted 2 to me seems the pinacle of action/adventure gaming.

I wasn't that impressed with Uncharted 2, to be honest...the game that blew me away was Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 just looked like more of the same. Apart from the snowmobile, it was just meat n' potatoes FPS design. Uncharted offers plenty of traversal gameplay, witty humor, new multiplayer and dynamic level design.

More of the same? Not entirely. I mean...well it is a sequel, and sequels build on from the previous titles (which is also what Uncharted is doing, the core gameplay stays intact) but when they went through the level, from the cliffhanging sequence to the radar looking for enemies in the blizzard, it was pretty damn amazing to me. Not that Uncharted 2's footage wasn't good, I guess I just wasn't as into it as others. I've been through enough helicopter sequences recently with X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Well I guess we've got different views on what's more innovative, but hey, that's what being an individual is all about

      Can't argue there. ^^

Meh, another thing going for me is that I never played the first Uncharted, but I played the heck out of Modern Warfare. :S

I really don't see the big deal with this game. But to each their own I guess.
