A little debate here for you guys. Resume Play asks whether the unique and quikry art that goes into some games trumps the hardware pumping from more modern titles such as Killzone 2.

Before you expect a bias answer to the question above, I adore both types of graphical output, and you could never get me to decide between the two. Since I have remembered, my choice of console games haven’t just lay within the simplicity of seeing if it is good or not, but also the visual feast too. This may not always be the best way to go shopping for games, but some masterpieces are idolised by their gameplay, story and design, and then by their graphical output; the two prime examples being Sony’s ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, both amazing games with a solid art style to achieve the ultimate effect.

Neither win. It is all a different art style. Some games opt for more realism where others go for a more artistic approach, to say one is better than the other is personal taste and nothing more, neither one is better than the other.

I love Okami far more than KZ2, mainly because Okami tells such an epic story.

Does anyone else get the feeling this is half an article? It's so brief, and barely discusses either side.

I was really making my own judgements; I could care less what an "X vs X" article says.
