Bungie recently revealed, indirectly, what the Genre of Halo Reach actually is. This brings up an interesting question: Why would Bungie unveil a possible Genre for Halo Reach so soon?

We all know that Joystiq kept pressing Bungie until they finally decided to submit and confess that Halo Reach will be an FPS title, but this article is not about that. In fact, there is a huge possibility that Bungie’s confession was merely the tip of the iceberg. From what I have discovered so far, this game could be far more than just another FPS. If you would like to know the possible new direction that the Halo franchise might be taking with Halo Reach, then keep reading.

Is it possible that they are beginning the hype train, for this title, 18 months in advance?
How are they building up the hype train with a job description in a wanted ad? How else would they expect to find designers to work on projects?

Hmm, I don't know how I feel about a sandbox Halo game...

Oh and, Magimaster, you make a very good point. Your comment actually made me laugh.

    To Everyone,

    Thank you for your comments.

    @ Magimaster

Your comment was so sarcastic that I could not stop myself from laughing. The article was basically about a find that could mean something to us all in the near future.

I am not certain about what I found. I am simply sharing my thoughts on what it could be. Once again, I thank you all for your comments

    God Bless You All

If it is a continental free roam FPS, I will LOVE it. ODST is probably a test to see if they can handle a free roaming HALO game.
