As always, it's an entertaining watch -- check it at the source.

That's why I like Sessler, man speaks the truth every time.

Hell yeah. He shuts people up good heh, especially likes taking down the fanboys. I remember the heat from a few RPGs that X-Play didn't favor, he makes great points here, and is able to let loose.

I enjoy it when he tells fanboys to fellate themselves so he doesn't have to listen to them.

You have to love people who would piss and moan endlessly if the L4D follow up was announced and delayed. Now they're whining because it's coming out so fast it's taken them all by surprise.

The man does not 'speak the truth'. What he does is fail to address any of the points the boycotters have made. VALVe doesn't owe us anything? Then why did they promise all this content as free dlc right before the game was released, and then decide we have to pay for it?

VALVe are just following in the footsteps of other companies because they want money. I don't blame them. Money's nice. But screwing over your fans isn't. Adam Sessler is a douchebag for simply stating his opinion, and not mixing facts in there as well.

Aw, I don't think that makes him a douchebag, if what you say is true, merely ignorant. He means well.

Again, they didn't promise anything, Kave En...holy crap how many times must that be said until you understand?

The truth is, they don't owe us anything.

Mmm..there is some merit to that notion though -- I think gamers really want a sense of community with developers. Valve has kinda forged this over the years, so I think fans have certain expectations (albeit, perhaps, sometimes misled ones).

dont care. say what you want, it's still too soon to release a sequel to a strictly-multiplayer online game (dont even mention the single player campaign because it sucks). you have to let a game simmer for a few years, and release a sequel once the first one starts to get stale for the players.

Go Sessler! love when he does the rants, he good at making points.

I really don't care if another one is coming out. I'm sick of the first one, so I'll need this one. In my eyes it looks like a different game than the first. If L4D 3 comes out next year I'd buy it. I'll buy L4D2 when it comes out, I'll enjoy it like I did the first, it's just to good of a game to let go to waste.

Vavle doesn't owe anyone, you don't call them on the phone and ask questions about them. So you don't even know Vavle personally to really say they owe you anything. Valve doesn't owe jack shit to anyone. People break promises all the time.

"The Internet, when it comes to games, can be such a nation of whiners..."

    True that.
